automate inconvenient and lengthy manual proccesses
The X3 Folder copy/refresh process is a manual procedure that involves either working directly in X3 to extract data from a source folder and import it into a destination folder or working within the X3 Management Console to perform the same functions.
This module has been developed by Net at Work to automate the X3 Folder Refresh process using the Microsoft BCP (Bulk Copy Process) and other in-house developed functions to fulfill this requirement. The Microsoft BCP utility is used to speed up the X3 data extract/import process and improve overall program performance as the default X3 SVG function can be time consuming for large database environments.
Because the X3 Folder refresh process typically requires work outside of regular business hours, someone usually has to work late at night, early in the morning, or on weekends. This module eliminates that need by automating the scheduling and execution of folder refreshes. It can be configured to run as a Windows scheduled task, enabling automatic folder refreshes, detailed logging of results, and email notifications for progress updates.
