Welcome to 2022. Have you setup budgets in your Sage 300 system? It’s not too late. Sage 300 allows for up to five budget sets that can be used for levels of goals, projections, or anything else you can think of to keep the business focused on growth and fiscal responsibility.

Sage 300 General Ledger Budgets can be updated manually by GL Account; have the system use a formula to create budgets from a prior year budget or actual; or export the budgets to adjust in Excel.

Once the budgets are in place, they can be used with Financial Reporter or Sage Intelligence for comparison to actual reporting.
