Microsoft Changes Affecting Sage 300
As time marches on the applications we all use daily are affected by changes in Microsoft or others that will require updates to those other applications. In most cases these changes are prompted by security or other concerns.
Microsoft will disable basic authentication and will require the use of modern authentication (OAuth for connection to servers, services and API endpoints such as Exchange on-line and Office 365 tenants).
What Does This Mean?
In product email services will stop working for Organizations using a Sage 300 version prior to 2020.8
If you are not on version 2020.8 or later, it is very highly recommended that you plan your upgrade and schedule completion prior to October 1, 2022. We can help! Contact your account manager, call us or email our HelpDesk for assistance and planning.
Net at Work recommends keeping your software up to date with currently supported versions. Sage only supports the current version and the two prior versions.
