Sage 100 Newsletter – Q1 2023
Keeping You Up-To-Date With Information About Sage 100
From the Desk of the Sage 100 Consulting Manager, Lisa Margolies
TLS 1.2 may not mean anything to you but it should.
If you are on Sage 100c you need to be on one of the following versions:
- 2020 PU 1 or higher
- 2021 – all product updates
- 2022 – all product updates
If your company is not on one of the versions indicated above, your Sage 100 will become “Read Only” as of your next maintenance renewals after October 1, 2023. Sage has made a last-minute exception and provided product updates for version 2018 and 2019; if you are on versions 2018 or 2019, you can install product update 10 for version 2018 and product update 4 for version 2019.
If you want to check what version you have, select the following menu options:
- Modules
- Library Master
- Reports
- Installed Modules Listing (3rd item from the top)
If you are unsure what version you have after printing the installed module listing, feel free to send the pdf to your account manager or myself and we can verify the version and product update.
Once we identify what version your company is on, please contact your account manager, consultant, or me so that we can present options to bring your company to be TLS complaint and prevent your company from becoming Read-Only.
Net at Work has been trying to get the message out to our clients and cannot replay the importance of upgrading to one of the versions indicated above.
Please remember that it is important to stay current as Sage only supports 2 versions back from the current version.
Are you thinking of upgrading? Why should you upgrade? Contact your Account Manager –
