Keeping You Up-To-Date With Information About Employer Solutions / HRMS
From the Desk of the Employer Solutions Practice Director
The success of the Employer Solution’s Practice within Net at Work is measured by our ability to exceed our customers’ expectations. The keys to accomplishing this is our team’s level of passion, preparation and performance.
Regardless of what you may think of him, New England Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick’s “Do Your Job!” philosophy is worth learning about because of what it can offer an organization trying to establish a winning culture. Roughly translated, “Do Your Job!” means being prepared, working hard, paying attention to the details and putting the team first.
The coach’s “Do Your Job! “philosophy just may be the difference maker. “Do Your Job!’ translates well in the business world and can help lead an organization to greater accomplishments.
In our organization the most important component is our people. While every consulting team or practice with which Net at Work competes have talented folks, what differentiates our team members is their level of passion. Our hard-working team members really love what they are doing and are constantly striving for ways to exceed our customers’ expectations. Let’s face it, if you don’t like what you are doing, then every step of the way is just painful torture. We want (and are fortunate to have) people in the Employer Solutions Practice who are in our business because they love doing it.
Next is preparation – we are continually evaluating ourselves: we look at what we’ve done and critically analyze it. As a result, we have put in place very structured implementation and project management processes and multiple avenues for customer’s feedback and evaluation. We know we will only get better by continued process evaluation and assessment.
As we continue to self-evaluate our processes, we have added ways for our customers to provide input. For instance, we’ve created a Customer Advisory Council in order to gain first-hand feedback on our performance. We will continually rotate our customers on this advisory group to expand the source of the feedback. We seek customers that will give us that tough and honest assessment of how we are doing and how we can do better. Please let me know if you would like to serve on the Council.
Ultimately for us it comes down to performance and the delivery of services and support that meets the needs of our customers. Most recently our entire team met to address these issues because we understand we can always improve upon our services and delivery of those services.
The good news is that the Employer Solution’s Practice at Net at Work is comprised of a group of very talented individuals who are passionate about what they are doing and who emulate the “Do Your Job” philosophy.
Sage HRMS 2017 – New Release Plan!
Sage recently announced that they are not going to release Sage HRMS 2017 in the fall as originally planned. The new version will not be released until the spring, providing customers with the ability to remain on Sage HRMS 2015 or 2016 until next year. Both of the currently supported versions will have quarterly updates in Q4 2016 and Q1 2017. Sage realizes that providing a major upgrade in the fourth quarter adds unnecessary strain to organizations during a very busy time of the year. Moving the release to the spring will simplify things for customers, and allow for proactive planning of the release. If you have questions about Sage 2017, or any of the supported versions, please contact us.
