Keeping You Up-To-Date With Information About Employer Solutions / HRMS
From the Desk of the Employer Solutions Practice Director
Key employee retention is critical to the long-term health and success of any business. Managers readily agree that retaining their best employees ensures customer satisfaction, product sales, satisfied coworkers and reporting staff, effective succession planning and organizational knowledge and learning.
Employee retention matters at Net at Work and especially within the Employer Solution Practice. Failing to retain a key employee is costly to the bottom line and creates organizational issues such as insecure coworkers. Within the Employer Solution’s Practice, the average tenure is 10 years with our Consulting group having an even higher average tenure. What that means to our customers is that our cadre of consultants have tremendous knowledge and experience to share with each other to create a team that can truly support our customers which is unmatched by any other organization.
Over the past year we’ve undertaken a process of reviewing our recruiting practices to make certain we are attracting the very best candidates and those who can contribute and continue to strive to provide the very best customer experience for our customers. Along with reviewing our recruiting processes, we’ve reviewed our onboarding and our ongoing communication processes to ensure we are retaining our talented employees. Within our Employer Solution’s Practice, we try to maintain a collaborative culture where everyone contributes to the success of our service delivery to our customers.
As the Practice Director for this talented group, I rely on their input, knowledge and experiences in developing our support model for our customers. With their involvement and the input from our customers our support model is always changing to meet the evolving needs of our customers. We always welcome comments from our customers as to how we can better support you.
The following quote represents our sentiments with respect to our Employer Solutions Team:
“I am convinced that nothing we do is more important than hiring and developing people. At the end of the day you bet on people, not on strategies.”
Lawrence Bossidy, Former COO of GE and author
