Sage 300 Subscription License Incentives
If you have not already moved to Sage C line (Sage 300Cloud) subscription for your Sage 300 systems we highly recommend that you do so at this time. Sage continues to provide incentives to entice you, including: Price protection on renewal cost and increased features only available within Sage 300c.
Over the last couple of years we’ve tried to keep you informed about Sage’s major initiative to move Sage users to a Subscription Licensing Model. This is part of an industry standard trend in software as the result of the success and many benefits of SaaS based solutions. Sage is one of many software companies in the process of making these changes as the days of purchasing a perpetual software license are coming to an end quickly.
While Sage clients are certainly not required to move, Sage continues to provide incentives to entice you, including: Price protection on renewal cost and increased features only available within Sage 300c.
The most recent change to the End-User License Agreement (EULA) for the Sage 300c version included a cap on your renewal of no more than 10% above what you paid last year (outside of new products or modules added). The current perpetual license agreement provides no such protection and we are seeing increases much higher than 10% with many clients. At this time it is our strong recommendation that you opt to move to C (subscription) in order to ensure you receive the lowest cost for your renewal now and for years to come.
If you are interested in making the change or have any questions please email us here.
You may view the EULA at: https://www.sage.com/en-us/legal/eula and then select the link: Review and/or download a copy of the revised EULA.
