From the days of Accpac Plus, to Accpac for Windows now known as Sage 300, Sage has offered one time incentives to get customers to move to new releases and platforms of the their software stack for “free” for a limited time as long as customers were current on support. The time to move is now. Sage has done this historically with all of its products. For those customers who have taken advantage and moved to new platforms when Sage has offered the shift for “free”, it has been a relatively painless process. For those who waited until the promotions were over, it became quite costly and customers rebought or spent thousands of dollars after the promotions ended to migrate to the new platforms.
