Net@Work Announces Acquisition of Forepoint LLC, Leading Sage Accpac VAR
Acquisition bolsters Net@Work's Accpac practice and extends presence across the Pacific Northwest, Mountain States, Alaska, and Hawaii.
New York, NY - November 4, 2010 - Net@Work, a leading provider of integrated business technology solutions, today announced that it has acquired the Sage practice of Forepoint LLC, a provider of business application software for small to mid-sized companies with a focus on accounting, ERP, project management, HRMS, and CRM solutions. Forepoint has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, and has consistently been recognized as one of the top Sage Accpac partners in North America. The firm has successfully implemented thousands of accounting, ERP, project management, HRMS, and CRM solutions and has more than 500 customers in 12 states. In addition to augmenting Net@Work's Accpac practice with one of the nation's most accomplished Accpac implementation teams, the acquisition will provide Forepoint clients with access to Net@Work's full complement of CRM, document management, HRMS, systems integration/infrastructure, and e-Commerce solutions.
"Forepoint has a well-deserved reputation for its Accpac expertise, their high level of professional business consulting services, and their focus on customer support," said Alex Solomon, Net@Work's Co-President. "Our recent spate of acquisitions augmented our MAS 90/200/500 practice, while Forepoint adds depth and breadth to our Accpac team, allowing us to extend our full service footprint from coast to coast and across six time zones. Existing Net@Work clients will benefit from deeper Accpac expertise, as well as expanded support; Forepoint clients will now have access to a broader array of business services, all managed and coordinated under one roof, providing efficient deployments and complete accountability."
"We've gotten to know Alex and Eddie Solomon and their senior management team over the years, and have always been impressed with the Net@Work culture and philosophy. They are highly respected in the industry and their business values and focus on strong customer support align very nicely with our own," said Forepoint President Kevin Cumley. "Joining Net@Work allows us to provide our clients with more resources plus a single source for all their business solutions, from document management to web development, as well as robust help desk support. Integrating our team into the Net@Work organization should be seamless given the shared values, complementary capabilities, and the experience that both firms have in expanding services and resources to clients through strategic acquisition."
Over the years Forepoint has been consistently recognized and rewarded by some of the industry's most respected organizations, which includes being named Sage Software Accpac Partner of the Year, Sage Software President's Circle, Accounting Today Magazine's "Technology Pacesetter", Accounting Technology Magazine's Top 100 VARs, and the Sage Leadership Academy Award of Distinction.
The Forepoint team will remain headquartered in Seattle, WA and will continue to serve customers in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Colorado, California, Alaska, Hawaii, Wyoming, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Illinois. Forepoint partners Kevin Cumley and John Foster will take on business development roles, and Sonia Gray will serve as Manager of Professional Services.
